See it before you dig
A camera goes in through a cleanout, tank or riser. Usually no digging needed.
Roots, cracks and blockages
The live picture shows what’s wrong and how far along the line it is.
Camera, then jetting
Where the camera finds a blockage, high-pressure jetting clears it and the camera confirms it.
Sewer & Drain Camera Inspection
See inside your lines, without unnecessary digging.
Pipe Camera Inspection in Langley and the Fraser Valley
A drain camera is a waterproof camera on a flexible push cable. We feed it into your septic, sanitary or storm line through a cleanout, tank or riser and watch a live picture as it travels. It shows blockages, root intrusion, cracked or collapsed pipe, sags where water sits and separated joints, and how far along the line each one is.
Proseptix is a family-owned, fully licensed and insured septic company based in Langley. Because we also jet, repair and install, a camera inspection leads straight to the right fix, whether that’s clearing the line, replacing a section of pipe or something bigger.
When a Camera Inspection Makes Sense
- Drains or toilets that keep backing up after they’ve been cleared
- Gurgling plumbing or slow drains through the whole house
- Suspected roots, cracks or a collapsed pipe
- Before buying a home with an older septic or sewer line
- Confirming a line is clear after jetting
- Tracking down a hard-to-find cleanout, tank outlet or distribution box
What We Inspect
Septic Lines
The line from your house to the septic tank, and from the tank to the distribution box and drain field. This is where blockages and roots cause most backups.
Sanitary & Storm Lines
Building sewer lines, storm lines and culverts that drain slowly or back up during heavy rain.
Camera + Jetting
Where the camera finds a blockage, we can clear it with high-pressure line jetting and run the camera again to confirm the line is clear.
Part of a Full-Service Septic Company
Camera inspection goes hand in hand with pumping, inspections and repairs. As a ROWP-certified company that also designs and installs septic systems, we take you from finding the problem to fixing it. See our septic system repair, ROWP septic inspection and septic system maintenance services.
Drain Camera Inspection FAQs
What is a drain camera inspection?
A small waterproof camera on a flexible cable is pushed through the pipe while we watch a live feed. It shows the inside of the line so we can see blockages, roots, cracks, sags and separated joints.
Do you need to dig to do a camera inspection?
Usually not. We go in through an existing cleanout, tank access or riser. Digging is only needed if there’s no access point, or once we’ve found a problem that needs repair.
What’s the difference between a camera inspection and jetting?
The camera finds the problem; jetting clears it. High-pressure jetting scours the pipe with water to remove clogs and build-up. Many jobs use both: camera first, jet the line, then camera again to confirm it’s clear.
How much does a drain camera inspection cost?
It depends on the length and type of line, how accessible it is and whether jetting is needed. Call us or send an inquiry and we’ll quote your inspection.
Which areas do you serve?
We’re based in Langley and serve Langley, Aldergrove, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Surrey, White Rock and the Fraser Valley.
